3.1 Service Providers

We may share information with employees, contractors, and vendors who need it to operate the Services (for example, hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery, SMS delivery, customer support tools, and membership software). These parties are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us. The specific providers that support our mobile apps are listed in Section 14.3.

3.2 Legal and Safety

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, a subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the property, rights, and safety of Pure Power Picks, our users, or the public.

3.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

3.4 Aggregated or De-Identified Data

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

4. Advertising and Remarketing

Ads appearing on our Website may be delivered by advertising partners who may set cookies. These cookies help deliver interest-based advertisements and measure performance. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Pure Power Picks and does not cover the use of cookies by advertisers.

4.1 Google Ads Remarketing

We may use Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords) remarketing to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our Website. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s past visits.

You can control Google advertising preferences through Google’s ad settings and can opt out of interest-based advertising by adjusting cookie settings or using available browser tools and plugins.

The advertising and remarketing described in this Section applies to our Website. We do not use advertising or cross-app/website tracking technologies inside our iOS or Android mobile apps (see Section 14.2).

5. Email Communications

If you provide your email address, we may send transactional or service-related communications (for example, account notices, service updates, or membership confirmations). We may also send marketing emails where permitted. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the email.

Please note that even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send essential transactional or service communications.

6. SMS Communications

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Pure Power Picks related to promotions, alerts, updates, and transactional communications about our Services.

Your mobile number will not be shared or sold to third parties for their marketing purposes. Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with us but is typically limited to a few messages per week. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carrier participation may vary. We are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. For additional support or contact us at support@purepowerpicks.com.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

7. Links to External Sites

Our Services may contain links to external sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy and terms of every site you visit.

We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party sites, products, or services.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our business. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and how it is used.

You may delete your account and associated personal data at any time, as described in Section 14.5 (Deleting Your Account).

9. Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

This section applies to California residents to the extent Pure Power Picks is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).

10.1 Categories of Personal Information We Collect

In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information (as defined by the CCPA/CPRA):

  • Identifiers (name, email, phone number, IP address, account identifiers)
  • Commercial information (subscription status, purchase history, transaction records)
  • Internet or network activity (browsing interactions, usage data, cookies, analytics)
  • Approximate geolocation (derived from IP address)
  • Customer service communications (messages and support requests you send us)

10.2 Purposes for Collection

We collect and use personal information for the business and commercial purposes described above in Section 2, including providing the Services, processing transactions, marketing (where permitted), analytics, security, and legal compliance.

10.3 Categories of Third Parties We Disclose To

We may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors that help us operate our business (for example, hosting providers, analytics providers, payment processors, email and SMS delivery providers, customer support tools, and security/fraud tools), as described in Section 3.

10.4 “Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Information

California law defines “sale” and “sharing” broadly. We do not sell personal information for money. However, certain advertising and analytics technologies (for example, third-party cookies or pixels) may be considered “sharing” under California law when used for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Opt-Out: You may have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as defined by California law. To opt out, you can (a) adjust your cookie settings in your browser, (b) use available opt-out mechanisms offered by advertising partners, and or (c) contact us at info@purepowerpicks.com with the subject line “California Privacy Opt Out.”

If you want a dedicated “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in your website footer (recommended if you run remarketing), you can add a page and route requests to the email above. If you want, I will draft the exact wording for that page as well.

10.5 Your California Privacy Rights

Subject to certain exceptions, California residents may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we collected about you
  • Request deletion of personal information (subject to legal and business exceptions)
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” (as defined by California law)
  • Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, if applicable
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights

10.6 How to Submit a Request

To submit a California privacy request, email us at info@purepowerpicks.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof of authorization and may still require verification directly from you.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Website and Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information.

12. International Visitors

If you access the Website from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

13. Privacy Policy Changes

Pure Power Picks may change this Privacy Policy from time to time in its sole discretion. We encourage visitors to frequently check this page for changes. Your continued use of the Website after any change constitutes your acceptance of such change.

14. Mobile Application (iOS & Android)

In addition to our Website, we offer the Pure Power Picks mobile app for iOS and Android (the “App”), which lets active members sign in to view their membership content (such as alerts, watchlists, and analytics). This Section describes data practices specific to the App; the rest of this Privacy Policy also applies. Memberships are purchased and billed only on our Website — the App contains no in-app purchases.

14.1 Information Collected in the App

To provide the App’s features, we collect and store:

  • Account and contact details — your email address, name, and membership status (used to sign you in and personalize the App)
  • A signed session token issued after you log in with your Pure Power Picks / MemberPress credentials (we never store your password)
  • Your saved content — favorited (“My”) alerts, alert follows, notification preferences, watchlists, and saved chart drawings/layouts, synced to your account
  • A push notification device token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging), if you opt in to notifications
  • A record of your acceptance of the in-app disclaimer (timestamp, app version, and device locale, timezone, and screen size)
  • Diagnostics — crash and error reports that help us fix problems
  • Standard technical data inherent to any networked app (for example, IP address and device/OS type)

14.2 No Third-Party Tracking in the App

We do not use advertising, remarketing, or cross-app/website tracking technologies inside the iOS or Android App, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Within the App we use only first-party analytics and crash reporting to operate and improve it. (The Website advertising and remarketing described in Section 4 does not apply to the App.)

14.3 Service Providers Used by the App

  • Supabase — secure storage of your account-scoped data (alerts, watchlists, preferences)
  • WordPress / MemberPress — membership and authentication
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — delivery of push notifications (device token only)
  • Vercel — hosting and first-party analytics
  • Sentry — crash and error diagnostics

14.4 Push Notifications

If you opt in, we send push notifications about alerts you follow. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App’s settings or in your device settings.

14.5 Deleting Your Account

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time — within the App via the account menu (“Delete Account”), or by emailing info@purepowerpicks.com. Account deletion permanently removes your account and associated personal data (such as saved alerts, watchlists, preferences, and push tokens), subject to any retention required by law. This is separate from simply uninstalling the App, which does not delete your account.
